Trust is essential in the relationship between charities and donors. The BBB’s program helps charities establish trust before an interaction even takes place. Hear from NewDay Services and Mid Cities Care Corps on how the BBB seal builds trust with their donors and how you can too.


About the Presenter:

John F. Riggins, BBB President…John graduated from Christian Brothers University in Memphis, TN earning the degree of Bachelors of Science degree in Business Administration. He was selected to be the President of this BBB in August of 1990. John is the author of a book named, “Lose that Ripped off Feeling” a self help business book for consumers outlining ways to make your money go further.

John has served on national committees and an International board of directors considering updates in BBB policy. He has worked for BBBs in Tennessee, Florida, and Texas and was inducted into the 25 year club last year.

The BBB at Fort Worth has more than 3,400 Accredited Businesses (Members). This BBB serves 2.2 million consumers in an eight-county service area. Last year this BBB worked on more than 10,300 complaints and 1.4 million inquiries with a staff of 17 employees.
