Family Pathfinders of Tarrant County Inc., a non-profit that serves people making the transition from poverty to self-sufficiency, has a program that matches volunteer mentors with individuals and families in need. Opportunities exist to mentor workers striving to advance in their careers, low income families struggling to overcome poverty, homeless individuals and the reentry population. Volunteer mentors from local businesses, churches and civic organizations are trained to partner with mentees in their journey to become self sufficient.
Through an ongoing relationship, mentors and mentees travel together for one year on the path to success. Mentors make a huge difference in someone's life by committing a small amount of their time. Family Pathfinders staff trains volunteer mentors and supports both mentors and mentees throughout the mentorship. We serve all of Tarrant County.
