Job Title: Senior Development Officer - Annual Fund

Description: Under the supervision of the executive director with accountably to the managing partner, the Sr. Development Officer -- Annual Gifts is responsible for seeking out potential annual gift donors, securing these gifts and promoting the activities for Partners Together For Health and those it conducts on behalf of JPS Health Network to appropriate constituents and target audiences.

Typical Duties:
-Researches targeted prospects and works to determine the optimum communication vehicles and strategies.
-Plans, implements, and manages programs to grow a coordinated annual giving program. 
-Performs "moves management" of constituents designed to cultivate and advance relationships with a significant amount of interaction being is face-to-face.
- Records interactions and "moves" in constituent record database.
-Develops and implements direct mail programs for donor acquisition and renewal.
-Secures honor/memorial gifts, annual gifts, and lead annual gifts.
-Organizes and oversees annual campaigns for board/leadership, employees, physicians and JPS United Way campaign.
-Manages grateful patient program.
-Secures sponsorships and underwriting for events and serves as staff leader in charge of the sponsorship and underwriting sub-committees for Partners special events.
-Coordinates cultivation events and implements donor recognition and appreciation program.
- Develops collateral materials to facilitate annual giving activities and communication.
- Maintains and creates statistical performance records of fund raising efforts.
- Records interactions and "moves" in constituent record database.
- Works cooperatively with the Sr. Development Officer- Major Gifts for optimum constituent relations.
-Works cooperatively with the event contractor to promote and carry out events.
- Fosters positive relationships with JPS leadership and other key constituencies.
- Performs tasks designed to meet fundraising goals and activity targets consistently.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in journalism, public relations, marketing, fund development or a related field and minimum 5 years experience in fund development, journalism, public relations or marketing are required. Three years annual gift fundraising required. Familiarity with standard Microsoft software products.  Familiarity with Raiser's Edge software a plus. Ability to conduct donor research, compile and analyze data essential.
