Food Stamp Outreach Specialist

Energetic professional with knowledge of hunger and poverty issues needed to work with State and local agencies, community and faith-based organizations to provide benefit information to partner agencies and clients in a 13 county service area.

 Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Bilingual in English/Spanish strongly preferred. Organizational skills and attention to detail and deadlines are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications required. This full-time position involves frequent travel within service area.

Must have degree in relevant field and minimum of two years client service experience or equivalent combination of education and related work experience. Experience in program coordination or outreach preferred. Must have own transportation.
