FIC Online Payment Instructions
The Funding Information Center uses Groundspring/Network for Good Donation Software to facilitate all online transactions. Please note that any and all fee for service payments (i.e. job posting fees, membership fees, and payments for workshop attendance) are accepted as payments rather than donations.
When paying online, please follow the steps below: (If you have followed the steps below and are still having trouble submitting payment, please click here to view the common reasons for FIC online payment failure.)
- Click on the Donate Now Button

- Next you will see the Donate Now Payment screen. Under the heading Donation, select the fee you would like to pay.
Membership - Organization Over $5M
Membership - Org. Between $250k and $5M
Membership - Organization Below $250k
Individual Membership
Purchase Directory of Grantmakers
Job Posting Fee - Member
Job Posting Fee - Nonmember
Workshop Fee
*Please note, if the fee/amount you would like to pay is not shown as a payment option, select Other and type in the appropriate amount in the text box to the right.

- Next, desribe what you are paying for by typing in the text box under the heading Payment Description. For instance, if you are paying for a workshop, list the name of the workshop. If you are paying for a Job Posting, Enter Job Posting/Job Title etc...
Please describe the nature of your payment. (i.e. Annual Membership Fee, Job Posting Payment, Donation or Workshop Fee. If you are paying for a workshop please also enter the workshop name.)
- Complete the rest of the form as prompted. (*Under billing information, please be sure to enter the address information that coincides with the payment card you are using. This may not always be you or your organization's physical address. Please verify with the cardholder if you are unsure what address to use).
- Click Continue
- The Donation Receipt page should apppear next. The text displayed will resemble the text below: (After checking to see that all information on the receipt page is correct, click DONE).
Thank you for your support of the Funding Information Center. Please note that your membership is not tax-deductible unless you are a for-profit business or individual.
Please note that this donation will appear on your credit card statement as Network for Good, which processed this donation on behalf of Example Organization.
Your contribution is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. You may save or print this receipt for your records. This email certifies that you have made this donation as a charitable contribution and you are not receiving any goods or services in return. Common Reasons FIC online payments do not go through
- Name and/or Address information entered into the billing portion of payment page does not correspond with name/address information on payment card.
- Attempted payment amount is above the daily payment limit on payment card.
- Payment card has expired.
- Form has not been filled out completely.
