Volunteer Opportunities

Office help at Administrative Office:

            Job skills consists but not limited to;

Answering Telephones, making appointments, transferring calls, making calls

Computer skills a plus

Web Site skills a plus doing research in internet

                        Making copies, filing, faxing

                        Setting up for event, running errands

Outreach/Prevention:

Working Health Fairs (dates vary)

Putting together health packets

Assisting the Outreach/Prevention staff

 

Mailings: we have several mailings done through out the year

            Consists of but not limited to;

folding letters                          stuffing envelopes

labeling addresses                    stamping envelopes

Meal Preparation for support Groups- Foodies

3 different groups-

*EGG (Exploring GOD Group) Monday at noon (group size: 6-8)

*El Sol Wednesday evening 5pm (group size: 18-20)

* Futuro Unidos Support Group 1st Monday of the month at 5:30pm (group size: 18-20)

            Volunteers are needed to donate and cook meals for the support group

* Special training is required to educate on meal preparations due to clients compromised immune system

The GRUB Teams

Each volunteers brings in a dish, they gather here at the office and distribute in containers to then deliver in teams of 2 or more to our client’s homes. Clients show the appreciation
