Information and Referral Assistant
The I & R
Assistant works with staff to provide assistance answering the incoming calls
and other duties to include:
assembling new client files, filing, copying, pulling
client files to be closed, closing client files and preparing for storage
Days needed:
Thursdays and Fridays in 2 to 4 hour shifts
Education, Intervention, and Prevention
Assist staff with: Health fairs, puppet shows, grade pre-
and post-tests, co-facilitate groups, Red Ribbon Week, Camp L4 (donation
drives).
Days needed:
Health Fairs and Puppet Shows – as needed
Grade pre- and post-test - Monday-Friday in 2 to 4 hour
shifts
Co-facilitate groups – Tuesday and Wednesday evening
Red Ribbon Week (Drug Prevention Week) – October
Camp L4 – 3 times a year (donation drives)
Building Maintenance
Handyman services, painting, plumbing, electrician, window
washing, storage unit, pick up and deliver heavy donated items.
Days needed:
On-call basis or planned for a group service
project
Development and Special Events
Prepare for and participate in Special Events such as
Annual Golf Tournament, Stars in Recovery, Thanksgiving Baskets, Adopt-a-Family,
Gift wrapping, Family Day, and donation drives,
Serve on Special Events committees
Needed: Most of these events are short-term commitments and time-of-year specific.
