Construction Volunteers: Build new single-family homes, or help
rehab homes,
typically
Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. No previous experience is necessary
– training provided on site.

Site Hosts: Help welcome and provide support on build sites. (This
includes overseeing volunteer sign-in, waivers, first-aid, safety
talks, ensuring water and other supplies are available.) No
previous experience is necessary – training provided.

Volunteer Services Assistants: Assist Habitat’s volunteer manager at
main office in Fort Worth. Requirements include a commitment to
volunteer at least one day each week for at least four hours per
shift Monday through Saturday, good organizational and computer
skills. Tasks may include the following: answer phones; data entry;
filing; assist with mailing projects; record volunteer hours.

Main Office Receptionists: Assist in main office in Fort Worth.
Requirements include a commitment to volunteer at least one day each
week for at least four hours per shift Monday through Friday and
good interpersonal skills. Tasks may include the following.

Make appointments for Homeowner orientation and enter into
computer

Mail out Homeowner information and volunteer packets

Photocopying, filing, data entry and other administrative
projects

Greet visitors and answer telephone
