This is our workshop information page. You will find a list of all of our upcoming FIC Workshops. Whether you are a new FIC member, or a long-time member, here is some information that you need to know:
- All Workshops are free for FIC members (except for workshops in which the instructor has a fee, each workshop will have a note if there is a fee.)

Tuesday, May 20th - AFP Audio/Web Conference: Advanced Annual Giving Techniques: Taking Your Program to the Next Level
Presented by Kathleen E. Pavelka, CFRE, President of Telecomp, Inc. Participants will learn how to create annual leadership donors by using techniques that will address donor screening tools, maximizing renewals, and acquiring new donors. Bring your lunch and FIC will provide drinks and dessert.

Wednesday, May 21st - Proposal Review
Not sure if your grant proposal is ready to submit? Sign up to have that grant reviewed by experienced CFRE certified individuals. You must be signed up by May 21st in order to participate! We will contact you by May 23rd with the information, it will be your responsibility to contact a reviewer and arrange a meeting. This is for FIC Members only, and is free of charge.

Tuesday, June 3rd - AFP Audio/Web Conference: How to Create Benchmarks for Naming Opportunities
Presented by Terry Burton, nonprofit researcher/analyst. Come learn the importance of benchmarking your naming opportunities. This session will examine the top 5 emerging trends in naming rights and how these trends have strategic impact on fundraising campaigns.

Come learn about the resources that FIC has to offer all our members. Learn to use the FC online database, library check-out resources, and the reference collection.

Tuesday, June 10th - TANO, FIC & CNM Event - Nonprofit & Risk Management
Join FIC, the Center for Nonprofit Management, and TANO for a discussion on risk management in the nonprofit sector. Topics will include employment risks, risk management policies, and how to develop a risk management plan.

Wednesday, June 18th - Funders Forum
(NOTE: Funders Forum returns to the Botanic Gardens, and has been moved to a new date!!)
The goal of Funders Forums is to bring various types of corporate, foundation and charitable donors together with nonprofit organizations in mutually beneficial dialogue. The ultimate objective is to make the charitable process work better for our community by educating nonprofits about donor expectations. (2 CFRE hours)
